New ClojureStream
Hey Clojurians,
Big news — I've moved all my courses off Podia (jacekschae.com) and onto clojure.stream, a platform I built and self-host. If you've been following my stuff at jacekschae.com, it's all here now.
Why the move?
Podia served me well, but as a developer teaching developers, it never sat right to depend on a platform I couldn't shape to fit what I actually needed. So I built my own. It's Clojure all the way down (surprise, surprise).
This gives me full control over the experience — faster iteration, features that actually make sense for us, and no platform tax eating into what I can offer you.
Lower prices
Speaking of which — the move means I can drop prices significantly:
- Monthly:
49 EUR/mo→ 29 CHF/mo - Yearly:
490 EUR/yr→ 290 CHF/yr
The same holds true for one-time payment, own it forever model:
- Reagent
129 EUR→ 99 CHF - Kit
129 EUR→ 99 CHF - Re-frame
199 EUR→ 129 CHF - Reitit
229 EUR→ 129 CHF - Datomic
249 EUR→ 149 CHF - Pedestal
249 EUR→ 149 CHF
Same courses, same quality, less money out of your pocket.
Podia migration
If you previously purchased a course on Podia (jacekschae.com), you don't have to buy it again. Head over to clojure.stream/settings/billing and click "Restore Purchase" — it'll pick up your existing purchases automatically.
Subscription prices auto-lowered — if you had an active subscription, your price has been automatically reduced to the new lower rate. Nothing to do on your end.
Newsletter subscribers migrated — if you were subscribed on Podia, you're already here. No action needed.
What's coming
This is also the first edition of what will be a monthly newsletter. Each month I'll share platform updates, new content, and whatever I'm working on next. Short, useful, no fluff.
If you have questions, ideas, or something breaks — get in touch; I read everything.
